WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to provide support to our school community of students, parents and teachers.  We acheive this by sponsoring an active program of speakers and presentations that explore issues that we are all dealing with.

 Minutemen Sports Club

West Morris Mendham High School

65 East Main Street, Mendham, NJ  07945

Mendham High School offers a wide variety of athletic opportunities for students to become involved:

Baseball Football Swimming (B/G) Basketball (B/G) Golf (B/G) Tennis (B/G)

Cheerleading Hockey  Track (B/G) Cross Country (B/G)  Lacrosse (B/G)  Volleyball

Fencing (B/G) Soccer (B/G)  Winter Track (B/G) Field Hockey   Softball   Wrestling

All of these sports help students learn about teamwork, goal setting, determination, commitment, disappointment, victory and many other life skills we hope our children will grow to understand. For over forty years, the Minutemen Sports Club has existed to provide support to ALL of the athletic teams at Mendham High School.  This happens by means of monetary donations from families and local businesses and fundraising activities orchestrated by the concession stands and sports basket raffles.  Each year, the Club ensures that the captain’s plaques are updated, the seniors are recognized, the banners are flying in the gym and special efforts are rewarded through the presentation of trophies at the end of season banquets.  The Club also supports various teams by means of giving special grants which help to purchase equipment that is not included in the athletic budget – “Mendham” team chairs for the gym, defibrillator for the Turf Field, rebounder soccer goal for practices, safety nets for the baseball field, a new pole vault for track, new mats for cheerleading, and the list continues……………….

We strive to have a representative from every athletic team and we welcome all volunteers to help with the activities of the Club.  Please come to one our meetings and see how you can become a part of this organization.  Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm and get involved!!!
